Taihen Trivia[]
Is it true that the name "Hurricanger" is based on the Japanese phonetics for Japanese translation of Harry Potter and the philopshpher's stone? Harry=Harri Philosopher('s)=Kenja. If so it should probably be added to the pageKore wa shomeidesu. (talk) 10:37, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I really don't know where Super Hero Taihen got that from. It's Hurricane Ranger, simple as that. Digifiend Talk PR/SS KR MH Toku JD Garo TH CG UM Logos CLG DW 10:54,9/19/2012
- Still didn't stop someone from adding it regardless. And it was left there for over a year, until a friend of mine pointed it out to me, and I deleted it myself.Jmcdavid (talk) 03:40, January 6, 2016 (UTC)
Ninpuu vs. Ninpu[]
Recently, the poster for the Hurricaneger 10 Years After Special was seen. However, on it is the word Ninpu as opposed to Ninpuu. So, unless there is another source that supports Ninpuu being the spelling, I think this page's title needs to be change. (Here is the poster in question: http://www.jefusion.com/2013/06/hurricaneger-10-years-after-v-cinema-special-version-cover-unveiled.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Jefusion-TokusatsuAnimeJdramaAndHenshinHottiesUnites+%28JEFusion+%7C+Japanese+Entertainment+Blog%29) Dont Be a Sad Panda (talk) 00:15, June 26, 2013 (UTC)
Right, about this, Ninpuu is the correct spelling. Screw what the poster says, Japanese is still Japanese. I won't be ranting like this if Ninpu was written as にんぷ or ニンプ, but here they actually write it in kanji as 忍風, and kanjis must follow their correct readings.
